1. Purpose & scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all visitors, account holders, team users, and API clients of Voiceups.online. It supplements our Terms of Service and AI Safety Policy. If policies conflict, the stricter rule applies.
Voiceups is a digital SaaS product. It is not a marketplace for third-party sellers, not a financial services platform, and not a tool for academic cheating or exam misuse.
2. Permitted uses
You may use the Service for lawful purposes when you have appropriate rights to your Input and intended distribution, including:
- Commercial and non-commercial voiceovers for videos, ads, podcasts, and apps;
- Educational and training narration (courses, tutorials, eLearning) with proper disclosures;
- Multilingual localization, subtitles, and accessibility content;
- Internal business audio such as IVR, product onboarding, and corporate communications;
- Creative and entertainment projects where synthetic nature is disclosed when required.
This platform is designed for learning support, content production, and responsible creative workflows — not to deceive listeners or violate institutional rules.
3. Academic & educational integrity
If you are a student, educator, or institution, you must follow academic integrity policies that apply to you. You must not use Voiceups to:
- Cheat on exams, quizzes, or timed assessments;
- Submit AI-generated audio or scripts as your own original work where prohibited;
- Circumvent school, college, university, or employer monitoring or honor codes;
- Produce content intended to mislead instructors or assessors about authorship or effort.
Legitimate uses include creating course materials, language-learning content, and accessible resources when permitted by your institution.
4. Strictly prohibited uses
You must not submit Input or distribute Output that involves, promotes, or facilitates:
4.1 Illegal activity

We report suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities.

4.6 Regulated & high-risk categories

- Activities that create unreasonable payment network, chargeback, or compliance risk.
4.7 Intellectual property violations

4.8 Spam, malware & platform abuse
- Malware, credential theft, or social-engineering attacks;

- Reselling generation capacity without our written approval.
5. Voice likeness & consent
Unless you have written consent from the rights holder:
- Do not create Output intended to sound like a specific real individual for public distribution;
- Do not imply endorsement by any person, brand, or institution;
- Do not use the Service to violate union, agency, or talent licensing agreements.
We may request proof of consent and refuse generation requests at our discretion.
6. Disclosure & labeling
Where law, regulation, or platform policy requires disclosure that audio is AI-generated, you must provide clear notice to audiences. You are solely responsible for compliance in each country and distribution channel.
7. Free demos & API use
Public demos and free tiers are for evaluation and lawful personal or commercial testing within published limits. API customers must enforce equivalent restrictions on their end-users and cooperate with abuse investigations.
8. Enforcement
We may, with or without notice:
- Refuse, block, or remove prohibited generation requests;
- Suspend or permanently terminate accounts and API keys;
- Decline refund requests tied to serious policy violations where permitted by law;
